Yuzhong District Overseas Chinese Communities Held a Film Screening to Mark the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the World Anti-Fascist War

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese people's war of resistance against Japanese aggression and the world anti-fascist war, the  Yuzhong district overseas Chinese communities held a film screening, which was themed “hometown's mountains and rivers, remember the history”, in Robinsons Galleria on Sep 22, 2025.

This activity was guided by the Chongqing Overseas Chinese Association and the Yuzhong District United Front Work Department; held by the Yuzhong District Overseas Chinese Association and the Qixinggang Party Working Committee. Under the reception of Chongqing CGM Mr. Dave Law, all members learned about Chonqing Robinson Galleria’s operation, leasing, and service conditions. They expressed that the mall is the only shopping center in Qixinggang area, and in the future, more activities will be launched at Robinson’s Galleria.

The activity also invited Ms. Tang Jianping, the director ofThe Good Fight: The Return (a documentary of World War II), and her team. Other members include representatives of the Yuzhong District Committee, the Chongqing Australian Association, the Chongqing Yuzhong District Federation of Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs, the Chongqing Yuzhong District Overseas Chinese Youth Association, the Second Generation of the Nanyang Volunteer Drivers and Mechanics, and other friends from the overseas Chinese communities.
