The Deputy Governor & Member of the Standing Committee of Yuzhong District Visited Robinsons Galleria

Luo Yi -- the deputy governor & member of the Standing Committee of Yuzhong District and a Party Member, visited Robinsons Galleria on Jun 7, 2025. Under Chongqing CGM’s guidance, Mr. Luo learned about Robinsons Galleria’s layout, construction progress and operational status. He also showed great concern and support for Plot #1 and Plot #2 renovation and gave constructive opinions on the construction.

Mr. Luo first visited the mall and listened to the mall’s development history, commercial layout, and operational model. He affirmed Robinsons Galleria’s business contribution to Yuzhong district and surrounding areas, and encouraged our team to continue to optimize services and enhance competitiveness.

Subsequently, Mr. Luo learned the renovation plan for plot#1 and plot#2. Currently, plot#1’s images are outdated, and the movement lines can’t satisfy people’s needs; plot#2’s roads are easily blocked, and the public space’s utilization rate is low. To solve these problems, we made detailed renovation plans, hoping through optimize visual images, change movement lines, improve transportation, and create high-quality public space to lift the two plots’ commercial value.

After listening to our plan, Mr. Luo expressed recognition of our preliminary work and said Yuzhong District Government would support the two plots’ renovation. He also said the renovation was not only beneficial to Robinsons, but to Yuzhong district, even the city’s image enhancement.

Mr. Luo highlighted the two plots’ renovation shall integrate with cultural resources, making Robinsons’ Galleria into a culturally rich commercial space and enhancing the cultural soft power of the district. During the construction, we should strictly control the project quality and construction safety, setting up a good image for Yuzhong district.

Mr. Luo’s support and guidance injected impetus into the project's future development. We believed that under the Government Department’s support, plot#1 and plot#2 renovation will go smoothly. We will add new vitality to Chongqing business and provide better service to customers surrounding residents.
